I am on 56K with connection speed usually around 50K.

It will be years before ADSL comes out our way.  Cable may be an option at 
some stage - they have been carving up all the roads in our area but no 
sign of the service yet.  Even when broadband eventually gets to our area I 
will still be on 56K whenever I travel, which is a lot of the time.
