Re: [APML] Leonid Film Queston
Hi Dave:
The one and only meteor I have captured in my short career was entirely
accidental and was on Konica 3200, unpushed. This was a sporadic that
occurred while I was doing star trails around the pole. If I am able to try
the Leonids this year (unfortunately work is cutting into play severely this
year), I may give the Konica Centuria 800 a try. It works well for ordinary
deep sky and pushed to 1600 might do well for meteors. Certainly has much
finer grain (when unpushed) than the old 3200 Konica. I haven't tried
pushing it yet. Are you going out to your Mojave site for the Leonids? Got
an observatory there yet?
