Dave,

With those slow configurations, you will not pick up any meteors except for fireballs, and that would take a lot of luck. Catching meteors is not easy. You want to use very fast film and a fast lens. The Leonids are fast meteors, too, which means they're even harder to catch on film.

I'll be using Kodak P1600 pushed to 3200 with a 28mm f/2 lens.
