Those look like Newton's rings as Matt mentioned. Was
the slide scanned between a standard glass slide
mount?

Another cause of this pattern is a greasy fingerprint
if the slide was accidently touched. This happened to
me once when I had my color film developed at one of
those 1 hour film development places. The best
negative had a nice greasy thumbprint right in the
middle of the frame and the print showed it too.
