I have a cayman four port router for my six systems at home.  It combines a 10mb hub and a DSL modem. Does all the DHCP and NAT for systems.  I think they have a cable version out as well.

I use the Linksys 4 port for my 3 computer network at home.  It's easy to setup and works very well.
