RE: [APML] Vacuum Pump
Any aquarium pump I've ever had apart used plastic or
rubber valves that would require major re-work to pull
any significant vacuum. They are usually simple flap
valves and are effectively on the wrong side to pull
vacuum
Perhaps some of the really old belt drive pumps could be
modified, but the modern vibrator pumps are unlikely to
work.
