[APML] Vacuum Pump

I have heard that it is possible to modify an aquarium 
pump to draw a vacuum. I would be using this with a 
vacuum film back, this is not a very demanding 
application.

Does anyone know about doing this?

I would guess there is a valve inside the pump that 
simply needs to be reversed but this might prove 
impossible on some models, in any case this is a guess 
on my part.

Any suggestions welcome.
