Re: [APML] GM-8/G11/Vixen GP-DX dilemma
I own a Ceravolo HD145 and use my GM8 with it visually. It works okay with
ths set up but for astrophotography, I would recommend a bigger mount. I
use an AP900QMD for astrophotography. The price difference between the GM8
and G11 isn't really that much and you get a beefier mount! In the end, as
Roland would say, getting a beefier mount is a very good investment and
will SAVE you money in the long run..
If you go for the GM8, get a set of vibration supression pads...
