[APML] direct comparison of hypered vs unhypered LE400 (was Unhypered Print Film)

Here's the difference between unhypered LE400 and hypered LE400 (aka PJ400)
Look at Jon Kolb's shot here with unhypered LE400:

Now look at my hypered LE400 shot here:

We are comparing color here not resolution. Jon's using a scope less than
half my apreture so he's doing pretty well resolution-wise. But note the
darker blue of Jon's NGC 1977; and the lighter blue plus more of the fainter
parts of the blue in my shot. This I believe is because of better OIII
(green) response with the hypered LE400. I can point out several more
examples if anyone wants; just e-mail me.
Unhypered LE400 has a purple or dark magenta cast to it because of the lower
OIII response. I saw this all the way back to the Kodak PJM-2 film which is
the very same emulsion as present-day LE400.
