Re: [APML] Drift Alignment

Hi All, Am new to the list and looking forward to it!  I have a Meade 10 SCT and a CR150HD.  I use a WO GT-One for a mount and I have an OM-1N and an STV which I haven't used as a guider quite yet.
Where does one go to read all the previous posts for this group?  Bueno, Dan NM

Subject: [APML] Drift Alignment

Hey guys,  Here is a trick I learned from a friend.  Using your right hand point your index finger at the star you are drifting on, your thumb in the direction of the drift.  Your index finger (at 90 deg from your middle finger) points in the direction the mount is off.  You need to move the mount in the opposite direction.  If using a star on the western horizon then use your left hand.

Hope this helps those who, as I, cannot keep it straight.
