    Wrap a heater band right around the objective cell.  Combine that with 
a good dew shield and you should never see dew again.  I use a five, ten 
and twenty watt heater in our band and seldom turn it past five watts.  The 
images are not affected by this amount of heat.  Believe me, dew does 
effect imaging...
