Brian:
You might run into a problem with the ST-4.
ST-4's are very voltage sensitive. If the voltage to them drops much below 
12v, they begin to act strange or shut down.
I would suggest acquiring another pair of 12AH batteries for the Kendrick.
In fact, I use three sets of 12AH batteries, one set for the mount-drive, one 
set for the ST-4 and one set for the Kendrick system.
