Arne and Emmanuele - this was covered about a year ago - should be in the archive. There is
definitely a European adapter to put Nikkor lenses on Canon bodies.

I just recently got a tip through the Digital Astro mailinglist for just
such adapters. I have ordered an adapter to allow me to use my old
Olympus Zuiko lenses on my Canon EOS 20D. I haven't received the adapter
yet (just ordered it a couple of days ago), so I don't know how well it
would work.
