Gary, Stuart, and Scott,

Thank you. Stuart and Scott; yep, I do keep a pretty close eye on the
histogram, even when I start clipping away. In this case, the clip is
very minor, and whatever it was that I did to cause it, it was a
sacrifice well made.

OTOH, I usually save my progress at a couple different stages (and I
ALWAYS make a copy before I do anything in PS), so I can go back and
start again very easily. In the case of this shot, I did not spend a
lot of time on it. I was more interested in presenting information to
the list on the wonderful response of this film, and gross
over-processing would have detracted from that end.
