Re: [APML] OT Kendrick heater problem

Joe;

     I'll Second Kevin's recomendation.  BewBuster, http://www.gbronline.com/ronkeating/controller/dewbuster.htm , is Really a nice controller with Temp Sensor Probe circuitry.  You can "control" the amount of heat going into your main optice within 1F above ambient.  There are two oulets for this, and 6 outlets for the reqular at 40% heat.  Kendrick also has a new Controller with Temp Sensor Probe circuitry too.  Shop for your best deal...joe  :)

Joe, if you are looking for a new controller, may I recommend the Dew Buster? I have one and love it.

According to their site, it is rated for 10 amps.

Thanks Joe and Kirk for your feedback.
 I did use the car cigarette lighter outlet just to determine the controller and the heaters are working properly. I have isolated the problem down to the power supply. It looks like the over current circuitry is dropping out the power with a load. I have been using this setup for a few years using only the lower settings on the controller . But as with all things time takes a toll, time to shop for a new supply with a higher amp rating.

 Thanks, Joe.
