On the night between November 7th and 8th I was lucky enough to catch a few
hours break in the clouds allowing me to view the spectacular Aurora
activity. I also managed to take almost 1GB worth of images (using my new
EOS 20D) of the activity. Here's an excerpt of the images to give an
impression how it looked like from my latitude of almost 60 degrees North:

Notice how the activity covers the whole sky (most of the shots are towards
zenith or south) and that it was strong enough and with such rapid movement
that I had to use exposures as short as 4 seconds for some of the shots!
