Re: [APML] Focusing OM-1 - but what about the Nikon F2?

If I can jump in here, I have a Nikon F2 and the Nikon 6x magnifier that
replaces the prism. For best result,s to focus directly on the focus
screen, you will have to have one that has a cross hair etched onto it.
I use a photomicrophotography screen with a cross hair etched on it. You
focus the magnifiers diopter adjustment onto the crosshair and only then
can you get good focus with the magnifier on a star or planet. If you
don't focus on a crosshair your eyes will attempt to accomodate the
focus and the exact focus position will be hard to determine.

cheers
