Re: [APML] Ghostly Greens & Lavender Mist
Hi Chris !
These pictures are beautiful , especialy the one with the snake cloud :)
I'm glad that you like the superia 800 , you can try the 400 too but after comparisons , the greens of 800 are a litle bit different and I prefer the 800 but the greens of 400 are not bad ... !!!
I hope you'll adopt this fim for aurora.
Thanks for the pictures !
Dom :)

Hey all -
I've posted my pics of last night's aurora. As others have noted, this
display was not a spectacular as Sunday's but still extremely beautiful. I
used Fujicolor Superia 800 per Dom.... :-) Thanks Dom. This film kicks
butt on the greens!
I had a period of about 5 minutes where the pillars reached up to Polaris
but that was it. These can be seen in the "Lavender Pillars" image. I then
went down to the beach again to crank off some more frames. By the time I
got down there, the display was already visually on the decline. However,
the film saw it quite differently. I love the green I recorded....I've
never picked up an aurora that was that green.
Btw, the dark cloud bank in the beach shots arrived about an hour later and
dusted the ground with 1/4" of snow. :-o
