I have a Minolta Dimage Scan Dual III since a year. I paied the scanner
about the sum you said but I'm not so happy of this scanner.
Minolta said me, when I sent it to repair that this scan have troubles with
some Motherboard (I don't know the model, unlucky).
My problem was not completely repaired from Minolta.
I had some raws with strange colours when I scanned my astroslides.
I had to scan them many time and then take a median.
Now the problem is less visibile but it exist!
I saw that some flat scanners such the Canon or Epson work very well and, if
I'll decide to change my scanner, I'll buy one of them.
Sorry for my english.
Clear skies
