RE: [APML] more aurora pics...from Iowa



Hey Stan,

All very nice with beautifully depicted colors and well presented.

Because of a hectic work schedule keeping me from spending much time on
the computer, I'd also like to take a minute and say "Thanks, and well
done" to all of you who have posted aurora shots this week.

My experience; got home from work the other night, started an exposure
of M33, came out to check on it about 8 PM and noticed a very bright
glow to the north, extending all the way to the west, and east. The
entire sky looked like the Sun was getting ready to rise. In the north,
how weird. I saw no colors at all, but did take a shot or two just in
case. We have been clouded out since. At this point, I'm still waiting
to see my first aurora.
