The last picture in that series looks like what I saw last year.
However, if you place a bluish gray circle in the center about 1/2 wide as
the frame and change the Aurora to deep red, blue, and green you would have
what I seen. The circle looked just as if someone put a lens up in the sky
and the streamers came out from it's circumference. There is a name for
that phenomenon but I only heard what it was the day after and can't
remember what it's called. Any case apparently it's a rare event.
