Re: [APML] Images of last night's Aurora

Chris,

First of all great shots!
Second, the next impact is due tonight from the
xflare!
We have lake effect snow tonight..(quite bummed out),
but tomorrow partly cloudy skies again.

We'll see if it lasts till tomorrow night.

Here is the predictictrion table for the next impact:

It is based on the latest available SOHO LASCO data,
which suggests
that the
velocity of the disturbance was higher than was
initially thought. As a
result, it is probable that this disturbance will
arrive much sooner
than
originally predicted. Probably tonight sometime for
North American
observers. Also, it is worth noting that it has the
potential to
produce
some disturbed levels of auroral activity. The
mid-latitude auroral
activity
warning remains in effect for tonight.

end

Ok.....disturbed levels??

hmm....id like to see some disturbed levels of auroral
activity!
I thought last night was disturbing<g>

Anyways, great pics and clear skies,
BRian
