RE: [APML] Advice on Epson 4870 Film Scanner

Thanks to all of you who provided advice on the Epson 4870. I have been
studying up a bit on the Canon, and have been checking out some of the sites
that you all sent that had some good examples of scans with the Epson. Looks
to me like flatbed scanners are catching up with dedicated film scanners as
far as good film scans go. Canon apparently even stopped making its film
scanner with the introduction of its new flatbed.

Hopefully before too long, I'll be posting some 6x7 shots that I scanned
myself. We just had one heck of a glorious weekend in the Shenandoah Valley.
There literally was not a cloud in the sky from Friday morning all the way
through right now (Sunday evening). I was able to leave the scope set up
outside the entire weekend, and I shot both nights until the moon came up.
Two rolls full of E200! Can't wait to get the results back.

Clear skies,
Andy
