Yes, it does. I'll try some experiments with the exposure times. That
must be what is meant by 'less latitude'.

I wonder again though, if I do end up with properly exposed slides if I
will need to set the scanner to "under-exposed slides", or if I'll be
able to use the normal 'color slides' setting. I guess the histogram
will tell me all I need to know at that point.
