Hi Alan

Try using the RAW mode, with 16bits (save as a tiff
archive). That way, no profile will change your scans,
and the data will be saved just as the ccd detected
it. Probabli it will look too dark (slides) or bright
(negatives), but all the data will be preserved. Avoid
further adjustements in the scanning process. You can
do the same, and by far more accurate, with Photoshop
or PixInsight.
