[APML] A questions for users of the SS4000
I want to find out if my scan settings are optimized for astrophotos.
On my Supra scans, there is a complete, fully-humped histogram. That
being the case I have to assume that my scans are OK. Any argument
here?
When I scanned my E-200 shots, I had the use the "under exposed slides"
setting to get a fully humped histogram. The "color slides" setting
left a cut-off, narrow histogram.
This makes me wonder if information is being lost by not experimenting
with other settings. If I do see a complete, humped histogram, does
this indicate an optimum scan? Or, do you some of you use different
settings? If so, why?
Thanks,
Alan
