[APML] Scanning slides (Was IC 410 uploaded and IC 405 adjusted)
Hey all,
After reading John's post yesterday, I re-scanned some stuff just now
using another option on my scanner dialog. I have a Polaroid SS4000. I
had scanned the E200 shots simply as 'color slides'. This time I
scanned as 'under-exposed color slides'. I hoped to increase the
scanner exposure time as John suggested, and I think that is what
happened. I now have a histogram that is completely encapsulated within
the histogram box, and looks a little more like a negative scan,
although not as wide. Scanning as 'color slides', caused the histogram
to start with a tall spike at the left side and come down to nothing
very quickly. It was a very thin spike too, with little or nothing all
the way to the right.
I thought I would pass this along in case anyone else is, or has been
in the same boat.
