[APML] ot: IBM PC or MAC INTOSH ?

Hi all !
 
I just want to know if I save a TIFF format image with Photoshop , wich platform should I save it ? wich one is better ?
 
Does a IBM pc user can open a file saved as Macintosh and vice versa ?
 
I just hope that have not been mentioned in a earlier post ! sorry if it was !
