Robert,

Thanks for sharing your story and the pictures of your observatory.  The end
of an era is a fact of life, but it sure isn't fun.  I wonder how long youo
will observe out in the open.  I have been setting up my equipment on a bare
concrete pad for 7 years now, and the amount of physical work and time to
set up and put away that equipment each session have convince me we need a
fixed observatory to really enjoy the hobby. I'm now building an observatory
similar to yours in size and shape.  I hope I can get 17 years use of it.
