This sounds a lot like what the 'Polar assist' option in the new Gemini
units tries to do for you. I haven't really gotten that far along with
the learnibg curve to know for sure, but the way the manual explains
it, it sounds similiar.

Very interesting, I'm going to read through your post again to let it
sink in. :-)
