RE: [APML] Film Scanner Question



I agree that the film profiles for the Sprintscan suck. Most of the
profiles are for extinct films and even if you have the correct profile
and a well adjusted monitor they are just a little closer to the right
color balance than nothing at all. You still have to do a lot and for AP
you usually do raw scan anyway.
Chriss, what software does the Microtek version use and can the Microtek
software drive the Polaroid scanner since they are supposed to be the
same hardware?

I use the Microtek 4000t still available at B&H Photo. It is the same
scanner as the Polaroid Sprintscan 4000, in fact they are the OEM of
that
scanner.
