[APML] Seagull Nebula (IC 2177)

Hi all,

After a very busy year I finally I got around to process a Seagull Nebula
mosaic from my trip to Organ Pipe Cactus National Monument last winter
(quite a long time ago!).

Three days after an extremely windy night during which I did my film test
shots
(http://canopus.physik.uni-potsdam.de/~axm/Filmtest_IC2177/Filmtest_IC2177.html )
I photographed the same region again, this time under much more favorable
conditions. A total of 3 images on Kodak PJ400 were combined into a
stack/mosaic:

Removing vignetting was quite tough, since the nebulosity filled a large
part of the individual images, which made it very difficult to generate
a good 'sky flat' image.
Any comments are of course welcome.

Clear skies,

Axel

P.S. [OT] Recently I started some mosaic work on the "dark side".
For those interested there is a link in the 'What's new' section on my
astrophotography homepage.

P.P.S No lunar eclipse photos; the fog rolled in just in time for the
umbral phase. I got a glimpse of totality through some thinner
patches of fog.
