The best one is going to be the one that is willing to learn, from you
and with you. You will probably need to be willing to go in, work with
them, show them an example of what you're looking for, and then see if
they are going to be able to give you what you want.
My lucky break came because the guy I was talking to happened to have
an interest in astronomy. You may need to be able to create an interest
in someone there, if you can get them to the point where they can see
what you're shooting. Peolpe love looking at (and yes, having a hand in
the actual developing and printing) nice astrophotos. If you play your
cards right, you can have them eating out of your hand. The 2 guys and
2 gals in my local lab, sometimes trip over each other seeing who can
get to me first.
