Re: [APML] Re: APML on a Forum
I continue to see references to Yahoo! Groups as an argument against going
to a web-based forum format, yet Gene specified that the software is called
vBulletin. My occupation requires me to participate in a number of forums
for research. vBulletin is one of the more popular forum software products
used for these online communities. APML is more than just an email exchange
community--we use APML to seek answers for a hobby we take seriously.
vBulletin is far superior to Yahoo! Groups. Please do not use Yahoo! Groups
as a forum standard...it is quite archaic.
I recommend that Gene put APML on vBulletin for a 30 or 60 day trial basis
to see how everyone likes it.
