RE: [APML] Re: APML on a Forum
Dale,
My biggest issue is that there is no message management. With
APML I can delete what I want and save desired messages into organized
folders. With Yahoo you always see all the messages in the group and
you may have to page back several times just to find something from a
day or two ago. Also, having to click through the ad page every couple
of messages is what I would deem painful. Bear in mind that I view all
my Yahoo groups from the browser and do not get individual email for any
of them. Maybe that would make things similar.
I do like the areas for uploading images and files though as well as
being able to view members.

I too, belong to a handful of Yahoo groups, very painful compared to
this format.

I like this mail list the way it is also but I am very curious as to why
you and others consider the yahoo lists so "painful" I belong to lots of
Yahoo lists. I don't see much difference between APML and the basic
yahoo mailing lists except Yahoo has many more options and better
flexibility. In plain text APML has the same amount of junk at the end
of each e-mail.
