... they gave away our addresses and others have mined the lists for the

addresses ...

Dave, I am not trying to be some Yahoo promoter here, but look at the
APML archive, your address can be much more easily "mined" by spammer
software from the online APML archive than it can from yahoo. There are
too many ways your address can be collected to blame yahoo entirely.
