Incredible, a friend called this evening and asked me to go outside and
look North. He wanted to know what the funny lights were. I said
AURORA and got to go,threw down the phone and grabbed the camera and
tripod. Lasted from about 18:35 'til nearly 19:00. I shot about a
dozen images on Supra 400 with my new Canon F1n and a 50mm and 35mm
lens.

It was totally awesome with a reddish curtain that extended up almost 45
degrees and split into two curtains before if finally dissipated.

I will report back in after I hit the photo lab tomorrow or Saturday.

A grand show for this far South.
