I was the one who started this. I sent Gene a message
this morning.

My reasoning is that I get 200 messages a day between
spam, my web site and my kids hockey team. I have a 
good spam filter but it still needs to be deleted and
mailboxes fill up if you go out of town for a few days.

The SBIG list on Yahoo lets you "opt out" of receiving
email. You can log in and read/reply on a web site
rather than receive 50 messages a day from the list.
