Re: [APML] Halloween aurora and a litle anecdote ;)

Thanks Chris and George !

Chris , I always like the aurora picures took with the provia 400F , I'll look forward to your pics !

George , I'm glad that you're converted to superia 800 ;) For the lens , I bouth it from this russian site http://www.russiansouvenirs.com/cameras_len.htm at 145$ US ( for pentax K ) , they have a store in Virginia where that took ~ 10 days to have my lens but if you want a better price at 119$ US ( pentax K ), you can command it here http://www.rugift.com but they dont have a store in USA , they're in Russia and that took one month to my friend to receive his lens. For the Eclipse , you can always dream :) but all is possible :)

BTW: I have a litle anecdote from one of my friend who took the aurora on october 30. He worked with 2 cameras at the same time , one with a 8mm peleng lens ( a russian one that you can find on the links above ) and the other with the Zenitar 16mm. He have only one tripod , then he put his camera on the ground , the one with the 8mm and a litle bit farther with his 16mm on his tripod. When I come back to stop the 8mm lens , no camera , hug !!! he found his camera 10 minutes later ;) LOL !! ... not easy to work with 2 camera at the same time ;) you can see his pictures here http://cf.f1.pg.photos.yahoo.com/banditlevis from St-Michel de Bellechasse ( 35km east of Quebec city ) I think he convinced me to buy the 8mm lens :)

Clear skies !
