WOW!
Really nice Dominic, your shots have pretty much convinced me that I'll
have to get one of the russian 16mm lenses. Also you are right about the
fuji 800 becoming my favorite film for aurora shots. I found the supra
400 that I shot at LaVerendrie in September 2002 was just too slow, same
with the Fuji 400 that I used in November 2001. The 800 comes back with
nicely dense negatives after 20 seconds at 2.8.
We were totally clouded over by 9:00pm Montreal time that night, and by
10:00 it was back to the rain we had all week.
Wednesday night we could make out flickering lights through the heavy
cloud.
Here is a big hope, how about an aurora next sunday (Nov 9) during the
lunar eclipse, should make for some interesting shots to have both the
moon and the aurora correctly exposed.
Did you buy the fisheye here or in the states, and what was the price
like?
