[APML] Halloween aurora !

Hi all !
 
Thansk to all for sharing your beautiful pictures of this magnetic storm !
 
I put 16 images in my STD gallery from the 31 october aurora here's the link http://www.spacew.com/gallery/image002013.html . I copy and paste my report from that night :
 
Overcast was the story of this very active week ( 26 to 31 october 2003 ) but I had a break of ~ 3 hours in clouds , when I arrived at l'Ile d'Orléans ( 30km east of Quebec city ) a moderate aurora was there but ½ later , at 5:45 UT 31 oct. 203 the aurora became very intense and filed the entire sky and I saw beautiful corona with fast movements and fast changing in shapes. A beautiful magnetic storm for ½ hour is extraordinary after 5 days overcast ! A special way to begin the Halloween day :) btw : my friend Jean Chiasson http://www.spacew.com/gallery/JeanChiasson and Daniel Tardif http://www.spacew.com/gallery/DanielTardif arrived 1½ hour before me and they saw a red corona show before I arrive !
