I would think that the housing of it would be the least of the problems
:^). I would think that at ~85 pounds it would need a rather large
mount. Particularly so since it has a bit of length to it. Reassembly,
collimation and focusing would be a bit more of an issue, or at least a
challenge. It appears that a 10 foot observatory would be large enough
but perhaps 12 or 14 foot more comfortable. Given the number of Schmidt
Cameras owned by club members this would make a great club project. Then
there is the fact that it was owned by Hans Vehrenberg and has a bit of
history.
Perhaps we, Kent, Keith and whomever should discuss the possibility ?
