[APML] A For Sale heads up

Greetings,

A fellow has approached me about selling me his 14-inch Schmidt camera or
pointing him toward other interested parties. As much as I salivate over
using a 14-inch Schmidt, it is beyond my present financial means. So I'll
repost his note to me in case anyone else in interested in this instrument
before it is offered to the general public.

I wish to sell my Celestron 14" f1.7
Schmidt Camera, formerly owned by Dr.Hans Vehrenberg, who used it for
about 1/3 of the images in his Atlas of Deep Sky Splendors. The whole
project has gotten too big for me, and I am very desirous of selling it
to raise funds to purchase a fine old Italian violin. My asking price
of $10,800 includes a custom cradle machined by Andy Homeyer, and is not
more than $100 more than I have into it.
If you are possibly interested in it or can point me in the direction of
potential interested parties, I'd be most appreciative, and would be
willing to forward a couple photos of it.
Many thanks, and best wishes for a happy Thanksgiving.
