Re: [APML] Field Rotation on a LX-200 with wedge?
I agree with Alan Christopher. I used a wedge mounted Meade 8" for quite
some time when I was manually guiding. I never had any problems with field
rotation as long as the polar alignment was good. It never slipped and fell
out of alignment or anything. You should be ok with it. I think what he
really meant was periodic error in the gears. Mine had very jumpy speratic
periodic error.
