The Pictor 201XT is a bad autoguider. The SBIG ST-4 is a better unit.

I highly recommend that you spend time browsing the APML archives before spending lots of money on equipment for astrophotography. Also, good books are Astrophotography for the Amateur by Covington and Wide-Field Astrophotography by Reeves. Good web site is www.astropix.com.
