RE: [APML] The Other Gibbous Moon

Hi everyone, I've recently started following the mailing list, the
pictures that I have seen here are just amazing. Thank you

Robert this is an amazing picture, is there any chance you would please
explain how you actually achieve consistency in the picture doing a
mosaic, I myself have tried doing something similar, but haven’t been
able to get similar results.

I am actually new to astronomy also, the setup that I have at the moment
is a 4.5" Newtonian with a Nikon CoolPIX 4500 camera, here is a picture
of the moon from the first ever try at astrophotography

http://www.yugoslavia-online.net/astro/Moon%20-%2012th%20November%202002
%20-%20CoolPix%204500%20-%20Edited%20(Levels).jpg

This was taken through a 26mm Plossl eyepiece with a scopetronix Nikon
adapter. I have only edited the levels of the picture in Photoshop.

Any hints at all would be most appreciated.

Thank you
Alex
