RE: [APML] Leonids Photos...

Here are results from my first meteor photography session (boy have I
learned some lessons):

1:Provia 400 - 50mm/1.8 at f2.8 -----out of focus
2:NPZ 800 - 50mm/1.8 at 2.8 -----out of focus

3:Provia 400 - 28mm/2.0 at 2.0----exposure OK ----12 frames with meteors
4:NPZ 800 - 28mm/2.0 at 2.0----exposure OK -----8 frames with meteors

5:Superia 800 - 50mm/1.8 at 1.8 -----over exposed-----no meteors
6:NPZ 800 - 50mm/1.8 at 1.8 -----over exposed-----4 frames with meteors

Out of 200 shots, I have two mediocre ones, the rest are really too faint.
Even though I'm disappointed with my photos I have learned quite a bit about
exposure, focus (er...rather how not to focus), various lens aberrations,
effect of the full moon, using 3 different film stocks, etc...many of the
subjects I see discussed on the APML but now I have first hand experience!

Oh well, next time!

Thanks for the reply Matt!

1:Provia 400 - 50mm/1.8 at f2.8
2:NPZ 800 - 50mm/1.8 at 2.8
3:Provia 400 - 28mm/2.0 at 2.0
4:NPZ 800 - 28mm/2.0 at 2.0
5:Superia 800 - 50mm/1.8 at 1.8
6:NPZ 800 - 50mm/1.8 at 1.8

It seems chaotic but I tried a variety as I've never shot meteors before!
