Re: [APML] Photoshop questions

Hi Alan:
I haven't seen any responses to your questions, but I'm waiting to learn
because both of your questions stumped me. I have never used
Image/Adjustments/Channel mixer and I can't even find the screen that offers
a choice of Master, RGB, and then the individual channels. Where is it?
Maybe you're using a different PS version? Mine is version 7. What does
Jerry Lodriguss' website have to say about Channel mixer?

I have found that the best way to learn PS is to just experiment. Just make
sure you do all the experiments on a copy <G>. So far my most used tools
have been Levels, Curves, Brightness/Contrast, Color Balance, and
Hue/saturation (all under Image/Adjustments). Under Select, the Color range
and Magic Wand tool are both important, followed by feathering and other
adjustments to the selection and, if needed, inversion of the selection. In
the Layers palette, the different blending methods are worth running through
on a couple of different images to see what the various effects are like.

Then when you have an image with a specific problem, you can put the image
up for the group to look at and you'll get much more specific answers.
