     Your image looks more like last years event! Would reducing saturation 
kill some of the green cast in the meteor trails without having to go totally 
B&W? If so... it probably would be worth a background shot. Purists might 
consider it all 'PhotoShop trickery' but you've definitely made the most of a 
challenging photographic situation... and you did it with film!
