RE: [APML] 1st BRC mosaic: heart & baby
Bob, a sharp hig res image for sure, might use a little more Luminosity
exposure. "Baby nebula"?

Subject: [APML] 1st BRC mosaic: heart & baby
I finally tried a mosaic with the BRC. I knew I would have more color and
brightness issues with the BRC's uneven illumination than I have to deal
with for my Newt mosaics, but it seemed to work out OK I guess. I would like
everyone's opinion on the background color. I've tweeked and tweeked but I
can't seem to find that "finished look" if you know what I mean.

I also had some film flatness issues that can be seen at higher resolution,
and there's still the collimation to get right. I have a collimating
telescope on the way for the BRC now. Anyone who has experience in
collimation with one of these please e-mail me. (Steve, Loke--you guys
adjust yours any yet?)
The mosaic is 2 frames; each being a 2 stack of E200 (60 min) and a single
50 min TP exposure.
Comments and thoughts welcome.
